Description

Characterized by the shapes and hues that Memphis Design Group founder Ettore Sottsass is famous for, this design from the ‘90s has been recently reissued in a new color. Capped with an airtight lid made from FSC-certified wood that has been responsibly sourced, this Suppose Glass Kitchen Jar keeps flavor and aroma intact. Use it to store dry foods such as rice, pasta, biscuits, sugar, salt and coffee. The lids are colored with water-based and solvent-free paint that’s sustainable for the environment and food-safe. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight or heat sources and store in a dry and ventilated place. Both Ettore Sottsass and the Suppose Glass Kitchen Jar’s manufacturer, Alessi, are represented in MoMA’s collection. For the lids, use a damp cloth or wood cleaner and dry immediately. The glass containers are dishwasher-safe.
