MoMA Exclusive: Crafted by hand in small quantities in Korea, this Fluid Desk Mobile is a wonderfully meditative object. It’s designed and produced by Blue Balcony, a women-led studio based in Seoul, Korea established in 2020 by two craft art designers, Gemma Hwang and Jane Kim. “We get our inspiration from the beauty of our everyday lives, our travels, and through film and nature. We also respect and celebrate directionality, rhythm, and infinite color and shapes. We want our objects to provide beautiful inspiration and mental rest in the space where your gaze and heart are.” The Fluid Desk Mobile has a gypsum plaster base and measures 10.4h x 5.3w x 3.9"d.
