MoMA and Vans Faith Ringgold Long-Sleeve Cotton T-Shirt

The MoMA and Vans collection is a collaboration that highlights celebrated artists from MoMA’s collection. For the print on the front of this Faith Ringgold Long-Sleeve T-Shirt, MoMA worked closely with Ringgold to uplift her feminist poster art: Freedom Woman Now (1971), one of a set of affirmative demands that were called during the arrest of Black political activist Angela Davis. The sleeves of this 100% heavy cotton jersey shirt features checkerboard graphics. This Faith Ringgold work is represented in MoMA’s collection.
